The accused, Imanuwela David, siblings Froliana and Ndilinasho Joseph, are facing several charges, including theft and money laundering, conspiracy to commit housebreaking with the intent to steal and housebreaking with the intent to steal.
They are accused of stealing over $580 000 US dollars, which is equivalent to more than R10 million in South African currency. The siblings have been granted R5000 and R10 000 bail respectively. Their co-accused David was not granted bail as he’s deemed a flight risk. .
