MEC Duma has sent his condolences to the bereaved families.

Twelve people were killed and two others were injured in a collision on the R622 between the Mooi-River Toll plaza and Greytown in the midlands.

In another accident six members of uMkhonto Wesizwe Party, lost their lives in a taxi crash on the R74 Kranskop Road also in the midlands of KZN. The taxi was travelling from Estcourt to Nkandla when the driver lost control causing it to overturn. Still in the province three people were killed and three others injured on the R74 between Stanger and the N2 following a crash last night.“It’s been a terrible accident weekend in the province of KwaZulu-Natal where we lost lives in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, which is amongst the provinces that we want always to avoid these processes.
