The Rockin' on the River concert series in Lorain will be under new management

Crowds enjoy sunshine and the music at the 25th annual WGAR Country Jam, held at Black River Landing in Lorain in 2016. Rockin' on the River has live concerts from Memorial Day to Labor Day.The Lorain Port and Finance Authority has voted to purchase the state’s longest running outdoor concert series from owners Bob and Sandy Earley, whom also go by Falls River Concerts LLC, the Port announced Wednesday.The port did not release the intended purchase price.

Tom Brown, the Port’s executive director, said in a statement that the port was excited that Rockin’ on the River is staying in Lorain.
