Liverpool City Council has confirmed it is committed to making Stanley Park Market a regular feature. The market launched in July for an initial seven-week trial but has now been extended until Wednesday, October 30, due to its popularity and success. The market, which began with around 50 stalls, has quickly grown to host over 100 stalls each week , offering a diverse array of goods, including fresh produce and gifts, with some traders reporting record-breaking sales.
On the decision to extend the market instead of making it a permanent fixture, a spokesperson for Liverpool City Council said: 'Due to the success of the Stanley Park Market , the Council is committed to making it a regular feature in the city’s market calendar, with the intention of it eventually becoming permanent.
