Several people in the neighborhood told KOMO News that they often see people coming and going from the boarded-up building. The city, at that time, confirmed for KOMO News that the building was on its Vacant Building Monitoring list.“We don't have a city service that can get their act together enough to address a dangerous building when you specifically passed legislation for this purpose,” said Kevin Dares in an email to the city.
