Speaking to RSVP Country, Robert said he sees himself stepping back from the music industry in about ten years time

Robert Mizzell has been a staple in the Irish country music industry for 25 years, but the American crooner says he wants to leave the stage before audiences leave him. Robert also wants to retire while he is still relatively young and healthy enough to travel and enjoy life with his beloved wife Adele.

"I don’t want to use the word retire, but in ten years time I’d like to be able to step back a little bit and concentrate more on travelling. You see these Americans going on cruise ships and they can barely walk onto them, I don’t want to get to that stage. I want to spend the last 20 years of my good health enjoying myself.

"It’s funny because my kids are still so young. She was born almost a year after their wedding, we didn’t expect it so soon.
