The National Student Financial Aid Scheme says applications for the 2025 academic year will now open on Friday.

Applications were supposed to open tomorrow but had to be postponed due to concerns raised by student organisations at universities, TVET colleges and institutional governance structures.“Another reason for postponing the launch of the 2025 NSFAS online application process was to allow NSFAS to do a dry run of the online application system to stakeholders.
