The Prince George Chamber of Commerce has revealed the finalists for this year's 39th annual Business Excellence Awards. Canadian Tire owner Selen Alpay will be presented with the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award at the gala ceremony in November. Pacific Western Brewing and Cheeseneeds are leading contenders, each nominated in three categories.

The Prince George Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for this year's 39th annual Business Excellence Awards.

Canadian Tire owner Selen Alpay will receive the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award during the gala awards presentation in November.PWB is a finalist in the categories of Excellence in Promotion and Marketing, Excellence in Environmental Impact, and Excellence in Technological Innovation. Cheeseneeds is a finalist in the Excellence in Food and Beverage and Excellence in Customer Service categories, while Cheeseneeds owner/operator Tracey Johnson is a finalist for Business Person of the Year.

The store 3 Goblins Games is a finalist for Business of the Year and Excellence in Entertainment and Attractions. Baller Food is a BEA finalist in the Excellence in Food and Beverage and Excellent in Promotion and Marketing categories. Twenty-one other local businesses are also finalists in this year’s awards, which will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the House of Ancestors.
