SoFA Market, a food hall in downtown San Jose developed by late architect Thang Do, is celebrating its 10th anniversary all month long. It’s been 10 years since downtown San Jose’s SoFA Market opened its doors in the South First Street arts and entertainment corridor with a wide culinary array of locally owned restaurants.
Developed by the late architect Thang Do, the food hall is now run by his wife, Grace Do, who was honored Sept. 13 by community leaders for the decade of success. The general manager is Jennifer Echeverri, owner of Habana Cuba. The pair decided that the occasion calls for $10 deals, and all of the restaurateurs are taking part. The promotion runs through Sept. 30.
