The Apple iPhone led global second-hand smartphone shipments during the second quarter of this year, accounting for a staggering 62% of deliveries. Samsung came in second with 18%. While overall shipments rose by 7%, the value of shipped second-hand phones declined by 13% to $7.7 billion due to lower prices driven by popular older models like the iPhone 11 series.
