Westlake City Council has approved an application for a new golf simulator business on Center Ridge Road, in the old Stein Mart location.WESTLAKE, Ohio -- The old Stein Mart location at 25027 Center Ridge Road will become home to a new golf simulator business.According to the application, “Always Golf LLC is seeking approval to build out and operate a full-swing indoor golf simulator entertainment facility with bar and food on Center Ridge Road in Westlake.
Another ordinance was approved for “some basic needs for the city offices,” particularly referring to an emergency medical service grant of about $3,300. Fire Chief Matt Moran noted the supplies they need: glucose monitors, blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, thermometers, splints, backboard straps, airway supplies, forceps, intubation kits, oxygen regulators, flow meters and bandages.
Leaf pickup laborers also are needed in the city. Deputy Service Director Chris Stuhm said the department usually needs about six seasonal workers per day, usually beginning in late October.It was noted that residents can help themselves by putting small piles of their leaves in black plastic or brown lawn bags that Rumpke, the waste and recycling company, will pick up.
