A customer shares their experience with a company's referral program, claiming that despite successfully referring a partner, they never received the promised $25 gift cards. The customer encountered contradictory information and lack of clarity regarding the program's terms.

They have a referral program where they award $25 gift cards – to the person that refers, and the person that is referred.

I did this with my partner, he joined, and we never got the cards. It was an afterthought, so it took a few weeks for us to realize, and follow up. Then we started getting contradictory info about when we would be getting them. Finally we spoke to a manager, and were told they are only awarded after 1 billing period . When I asked if that was written anywhere, I didn’t receive an answer. All I could see online was a promo last year that is very similar – see attached screenshot.I followed up with the manager about the contradiction:
