Police say the suspect is being kept at Jabulani Police Station in Soweto.

A 26-year-old suspect has been arrested at Jabulani hostel in Soweto in connection with the murder of an e-hailing driver.Joburg Metro Police Spokesperson Xolani Fihla says the suspect is being kept at Jabulani Police Station.

“During the arrest, an unlicensed firearm, a magazine and 10 live rounds of ammunition were seized from the suspect’s possession. The suspect has been detained at Jabulani SAPS and is currently facing charges related to the murder of the e-hailing driver. He is due to appear in court soon.
