Nike – Shares sank 7% after the athletic apparel and sneaker company withdrew its full-year guidance .
Lamb Weston's adjusted earnings for the period did come in slightly higher than expected at 73 cents per share. Analysts surveyed by LSEG were looking for 72 cents per share. Diamondback Energy – The oil stock rose 3% following an upgrade to overweight from equal weight at Barclays. Analyst Betty Jiang said that Diamondback had one of the "clearest positive event paths," nodding to the firm's $26 billion merger agreement with Endeavor Energy Resources.
