Parking Management Company LLC News

Charles Martin's pricey GMC Sierra was totaled. He's now suing a valet company for damages ranging from $250,000 to $1 million.

San Antonio businessman Charles Martin got an unwelcome surprise after dining one April evening at the Palm Restaurant on Houston Street. After Martin and his wife finished their dinner, he handed a valet attendant his ticket and waited for his 2023 GMC Sierra to pull up. The pricey pickup truck, valued at $108,000, never arrived. It had been stolen.

GrayStreet sells the last of its downtown Houston Street holdings to another local company “The security of our clients’ property is of utmost importance to us,” said Derreck Brown, an Austin lawyer representing Parking Management. “We cannot comment further on pending litigation but are cooperating fully with the legal process.” The company has yet to file an answer to the lawsuit. San Antonio attorney Eric Pullen represents Martin.
