On today's episode of Market Domination Overtime, hosts Julie Hyman and Josh Lipton delve into the top stories following Thursday's market close.This...

We joined by Jared to get up to speed on the action from today's session. That's about 1/10 of 1% here.A lot of the attention today has been on the bond market and the expectations and changing sort of by the moment of what the Federal Reserve is going to do next with rates that based on this morning is a little bit hotter than expected.

And so a lot of people interested in software right now to the downside, solar energy was the worst coming down 3.67%.The latest CP I reading showed inflation is a little stickier. So let's talk about this mark market. So you look at the, the Fed's dual mandate in terms terms of both inflation, unemployment, those metrics are moving in the wrong direction. You know, our view is that maybe equity investors ought to be a little more concerned about some of the data right now.

So still positive, but at a much slower pace, we're also seeing sort of a changing of the guard in terms of the phenomenal growth of the mag seven names. Well, assuming we're right, uh you want to play a little defense here and, and uh from our perspective, the way you play defense is to invest in the sectors of the market that are still relatively inexpensive. So you've got small cap names, you've got domestic, large cap value names, you've got international names with a particular focus on emerging markets.Yet the broad market as a whole right now, you know, we're just under the 5800 level all time record high.

And what might fiscal policy look like over the next year or two is an important point that we can't discount.Next we speak with a shareholder who has been a skeptic on that front. We robot takes place tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern for more on what to expect. So the idea that Tesla will have enough cars on the road, the data and more importantly, the customers, where are they gonna get the customers from?Well, I find it so fascinating this discussion because whatever they announced tonight on the Robo Taxi front, almost 100% will not be happening tomorrow.Maybe it'll be happening beyond that, but most investors seem to acknowledge that and accept it, right? For your clients, you told us you hold about $50 million worth of Tesla shares.

Because, you know, unfortunately, we all use our cars at the same time and then we all don't use our cars at the same time.So I'm not sure how this all works and that's what I, I keep saying, what, why I own Tesla is they make the best evs in the world and the technology in the vehicles is better than anybody in the world.

He's not trying to sell cars and you know, it's really a bad way to sell evs by selling Donald Trump. So it would be insane to buy Tesla over NVIDIA at this point with the earnings growth that we're seeing in NVIDIA, the non obvious one is the cannabis sector. This is a sort of off the beaten pathway to potentially make very high returns over the next four years depending on policy. But if those policies do change, especially rescheduling the and lower interest rates, these companies can become much more profitable and there's a very high upside there, but it is also a very high risk investment ross good to have you on the show today.

I just wanna give a, a hat tip and a shout out to end point news because they have been on top of this and that's how we found out some of this really juicy information. The event is streaming live on Tesla's X account starting at 10 p.m. Eastern and this is a make or break moment for Ceo Elon Musk as the stock has struggled this year amid cooling expectations for growth, investors will tune in to see the Robo Taxi prototype and how the company can reach its high expectations, the autonomous driving business moving on to tomorrow, Thursday.I had to ask myself for a second.
