But judge tells him he's a 'sensible and polite young man with a bright future'

Oliver Parker, now 19, was 17 when officers searched his house in Salisbury Road, Blackpool. They discovered 482 ecstasy pills, 1.4kg of cannabis and £3,500 cash .

"You were expecting significant financial gain from these offences," Judge Preston said. "That was proven by the sheer amount of drugs found in your home. You were young, you were naive and you were stupid." "You have learned a very deep lesson," Judge Preston said. "Many speak highly of you. You are generally a sensible, polite young man with a bright future that you put completely at risk. You have run he risk of ruining your and your families lives."

He said he would take an "exceptional course" and hand down a suspended sentence. He added that the two year delay in bringing the case to court was "inexcusable" for such a young defendant.
