Home sales have slowed in the San Antonio area and inventory is expanding, providing more options for buyers who can afford to purchase a home.

When Christi Cantu decided it was time to upgrade to a bigger home for her family of six, she found no shortage of possibilities. There were plenty of attractive pre-owned homes for sale in the San Antonio area, but high mortgage rates made it difficult to find one that fit her family’s budget. Builders’ offers to help with rate buy-downs and other financing perks on new homes caught her eye, though.
