A downtown El Paso business gearing up for the holiday season suffered a setback due to an overnight fire.
The co-owner Jenny Chong stated she was not called about the fire and found her storage shed burned to the ground when she opened the store Monday morning. "You cannot sell this one because it smells of smoke and also they spray water, it's so everything's wet and smells of smoke you cannot sell," said Chong.
The store "Grace Trading" opened Monday without any electricity, Chong said El Paso Electric is not able to connect its power again until they demolish what is left of the storage shed.
