SINGAPORE: In one of the largest cases of kickbacks investigated by the Ministry of Manpower to date, a man demanded close to S$400,000 from foreign workers for the renewal of their work permits.

PETALING JAYA: Another company director has been detained by graft busters in connection to allegedly submitting documents with false details involving the application of foreign worker quota for the Human Resources Ministry's approval worth RM1.1mil.

She has since been put under remand until Monday after the remand application was granted by Magistrate Wan Noora Nisa Ngadirin at Shah Alam Magistrate's Court on Thursday . It was reported that the MACC had arrested a Bangladeshi company director with a Datuk title on suspicion of submitting documents with false details involving the application of foreign worker quota for Human Resources Ministry's approval worth RM1.1mil.
