On Sunday the teenage sensation from Warrington won the Grand Slam of Darts to add to his sizeable prize pot since bursting onto the scene 12 months ago. The 17-year-old is approaching the end of a debut year of dreams, capped this weekend by success in Wolverhampton .
This marks a steep rise from the 164th position he occupied a year ago, before rising to stardom at Alexandra Palace. On the Order of Merit - which is calculated over a two-year period - Littler is officially recognised to have won £558,500 in prize money.
