JTG Daugherty has been rebranded as HYAK Motorsports.

The NASCAR Cup Series team, formerly known as JTG Daugherty Racing, is now Hyak Motorsports and it has a new majority owner. Gordon Smith is now the majority owner, alongside co-owners Brad Daugherty, Mark Hughes and Ernie Cope, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will continue to drive the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro next season.'Becoming the owner of Hyak Motorsports brings an exciting opportunity,' said Gordon Smith, Team Owner/CEO.

'The 2025 season will be the third under current management and the team has earned a trip to victory lane each of the last two seasons. The biggest win in the team's history was Stenhouse Jr.'s Daytona 500 victory on February 19, 2023. Hyak Motorsports roots can be traced back to 1995, when it was known as ST Motorsports, when the No. 47 was driven by Jeff Fuller in the Goody's 300 at Daytona International Speedway in the Busch Series .
