Youngsters 'over the moon' after new shelter installed at Market Drayton skatepark - with plans for lights next

"We've established a positive relationship with a group of young people down there, and through general conversations about anything they wanted to do or needed, the thing they were screaming out for the most was somewhere to shelter and get away from the bad weather, and also they need some lights. "With the lights, we are hoping this can happen. I am in the process of talking to the council and seeing if there is any funding for the town council to try and get it lit up there."We work there every Thursday night and even like now when it is cold and wet the young people are there - credit to them, they love it there. If we had some lights there it would be brilliant and even better.
