A Tipperary couple, Johnny and Deirdre Doran, have successfully converted an historic Bank of Ireland building into a home and physical therapy business. Located in Templemore, the family moved into the building 22 years after purchasing it with a mortgage.

Johnny and Deirdre Doran were thrilled to secure a mortgage for their first home, the Bank of Ireland building in Templemore, Co Tipperary. After 22 years, the building has transformed into their family home and physical therapy business space. The couple originally moved from the countryside to be closer to facilities and for Johnny's growing practice.

Dating back to 1860, the semidetached three-bay, three-storey 5,000sq ft (465sq m) landmark with brick chimney stacks and decorative render was a significant architectural feature in the town
