A Dallas investment firm that’s snatched hundreds of acres north of the city has made another land purchase.

Texas Republic Management purchased a 375-acre mixed-use tract along the planned Dallas North Tollway extension in Grayson County, northwest of Gunter. The tract was acquired from Midas Global Investments, led by Raj Kiran and Sudheer Babu Bagham. It was part of the larger, a 1,215-acre property just north of Kimberlin Road. Midas purchased the land in 2022 with plans for a future residential development.

The purchase adds to the firm’s growing Grayson County portfolio. Texas Republic Management said in a February news release that it had acquired over 700 acres in Grayson County.and Denton counties following the path of the Dallas North Tollway and Preston Road. The company buys the properties in partnerships with plans to resell the land to homebuilders and developers.“That corridor is something that we just think is very special for the future growth of North Texas,” Weber said.
