H-E-B hung onto its spot in the top five of the latest Forbes ranking of America’s largest privately-owned companies — and is still the biggest Texas company on the list. The San Antonio-based grocer’s revenue increased to $46.5 billion in 2024, Forbes said, keeping it at No. 5 for a second-straight year. This year’s revenue is up from $43.6 billion a year ago and $38.9 billion two years ago. Its employment is increasing, too.
