The sandwich company based in Staffordshire went out of business,125 people lost their job. All of this despite The Food Standards Agency (FSA) confirming on Wednesday it was not the source of the outbreak.

The Good Food Chain has gone into liquidation after production was suspended due to a listeria outbreak investigation.

‘I would like to thank them for everything they have done for the Good Food Chain, and particularly for their loyalty and patience over the last few weeks.’ Mr Corfield added:‘I was absolutely devastated to hear that people had died after contracting listeriosis and have been thinking constantly about all those affected and their families over the last few weeks.
