Hunt changes tune on Hlatshwayo via SABCNewsOnline

Hlatshwayo has been linked to Orlando Pirates on the domestic front, while some teams abroad have also shown interest in him. But Hunt is adamant that the Bafana Bafana central defender is staying put.

Hunt was speaking at a press briefing ahead of his teams MTN8 first-round match against SuperSport United at the Bidvest Wits Stadium on Sunday. “No, he does not wanna go anywhere. He’s happy with us. You can never say never in football. Players go for free and they are brought back, so anything can happen in the world of football. Well I’m sure there’s gonna be a better movement before the window closes as well as overseas, but no the boy does not wanna go.

“I don’t wanna lose the boy. He knows that he’s a captain of our club, he’s a captain of our national team, he feels he’s at home and we’ve come a long way,” says Hunt., even though it is his desire is to keep every member of his current squad.
