KUALA LUMPUR: Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng fired back at the Department of Orang Asli Development today over a delay in payment to schoolbus operators who shuttle Orang Asli schoolchildren.

Lim said the ministry should not be blamed for the delay as his ministry only received the application on Aug 22 and approved it on Aug 27. “I think you better ask that ministry why this type of statement came out , especially when it is baseless,” he added.
