Ireland's Got Talent star Ronan Brady says crippling insurance premiums are killing performing arts industry

A former Ireland’s Got Talent semi-finalist has warned that crippling insurance premiums are killing the performing arts with hundreds of businesses set to close.

Ronan Brady who wowed audiences with his circus acrobats on the hit Virgin Media talent show, told the Irish Mirror:“It’s totally worrying, most of the facilities in Dublin are potentially going to have to close down before the end of the year. The Roscommon artist created the show How to Square a circle alongside his circus partner Aisling Ni Cheallaigh.

“These exotic foreign creatures who could do these wonderful things with their body, you never think Irish people can do that. The arts advocate is passionate about keeping the performing arts alive warning that gymnastic facilities, dance schools and bouncy castle businesses will suffer the same fate if premiums keep rising.
