SHAH ALAM: The police have arrested 17 people in multiple raids on a company that made fake foreign worker permits.

Selangor Commercial Crimes Investigation Department chief Asst Comm Fazlisyam Abd Majid said in a press conference on Friday that the raids were conducted in Klang and Shah Alam on Oct 8 and 10.

ACP Fazlisyam said that the investigation showed that the mastermind of the company, a Pakistani, was one of those arrested. ACP Fazlisyam said it is believed that the mastermind earned around RM5,000 a month from commissions and had been active since 2017.
