The public broadcaster officially announced in a statement that the last episode of Isidingo will be airing in March next year.
It says the decision to decommission Isidingo has been informed by a number of factors, including poor audience ratings during the time slot and a decline in revenue. The public broadcaster says SABC 3 plans to invest in local productions which will allow creatives to come up with new, gripping and commercially viable content.
Through its content division, the SABC will welcome any proposals that will respond to the plans and the direction of the channel.

Thank you ANC for messing the SABC up.
PolokoMokhele I'm sure disappoint... SABC really disrespects us
Again, all the kids program during they week should be canned. Let them be replaced by programs that will force Government put money in SABC like educational programs that will help learners with school homework. SABC can ask Basic Dep Edu makes commissions for those programs.
So this is serious. The most up to date soapie will be canned. Useless soapies Uzalo, Generation, Muvhango list is endless. Maybe SABC you cut all stupid repeats of Uzalo, Generation, Muvhango. Even Isidingo. They should just show 5times only no repeats.
SABC management jst decided without consulting us .MXM

Africa's news leader. One of South Africa's leading travel insurance firms has stopped covering tickets issued by South African Airways (SAA) against insolvency, leaving the fate of the country's struggling state-run airline hanging in the balance Just shut the damn airline down. It already cost the country way more than what it’s worth. Keeping it in operation is just wasting tax payers money And there we have CR still pushing for BBBEE nonsense. Cant that silly being not see what damage has been done to SOE's through BBBEE? either too dumb or too racist to scrap BBBEE. Common sense will tell you to get rid of BBBEE if you cared about the economy. Shut SAA down. Sell the assets. Rebuild from scratch with viable routes, new aircrafts and better service. I mean South Africa can't even afford a B787 dreamliner. Pathetic. Watch Ethiopian Airways soar... We are still flying A319... Geeez
