Oliphant to testify at State Capture Inquiry via SABCNewsOnline

Former Minister of Labour, Mildred Oliphant and former Minister of Public Service and Administration, Richard Baloyi, are expected to give testimony.

The Commission is investigating allegations of state capture, corruption, fraud and other allegations in the public sector – including organs of state. Last week, former Director of the Domestic Branch of State Security Agency, Gibson Njenje testified about former State Security minister,Njenje told the Commission that Cwele requested him to investigate the operations of a covert Principal Agent Network with allegations of abuse of taxpayers money.

Much like the SAPS secret slash fund, it was found that PAN was used for purchase and leasing of properties, purchasing of 300 vehicles, employing untrained or vetted agents and siphoning off funds to family relatives of senior members.
