In a recent interview, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard criticized her fellow presidential candidate South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg for his work with McKinsey and Company, a corporate consulting firm.

When asked if she thought Buttigieg's work for McKinsey was"disqualifying," the congresswoman responded that voters should be aware of each candidate's background. She said that Buttigieg"graduated from a great school" and was a Rhodes Scholar, but questioned why he chose to work for the firm when"he could've chosen to work anywhere," with his background.

reported that McKinsey consultants made recommendations to cut food spending for migrants and medical care for detainees in 2017."As somebody who left the firm a decade ago, seeing what certain people in that firm have decided to do is extremely frustrating and extremely disappointing," he said. Buttigieg has stated that a nondisclosure agreement was the reason he has not spoken at length about his former clients at the consulting firm. On Monday, following Buttigieg's vague summary of his work at the firm, McKinsey announced that they had given him permission to reveal his clients. Buttigieg had not yet done so as of Tuesday afternoon.

Compared to being a anti-gay crusader...

Have Berners started protecting Petey from Tulsi2020 yet?

What I see is that instead of debating on substance of the issue she's raising, you're using the same tired insults against her. The only think that shows is that both your argument and your candidate are too weak to defend. Tulsi2020

This is nearly positive coverage of Tulsi, and it's freaking me out.

Is there anyone that cares what this woman thinks?

Tulsi is the best candidate out there. Integrity and honesty.

wow can't believe you covered this, good job

Who doesn’t, tulsi? Really. Obama maybe.

Why don’t you challenge him with it at the next debate . . . oh wait! Never mind.

Agree with you on this 1,Tulsi.

Does anyone really trust anything TulsiGabbard says?

Tulsi - by that logic (which I don’t agree with) why would you join the military to go contribute to an unjust war?

Says the lady who works for a President who puts children in cages.

Better than Tulsi working for the Russians.
