Ignore the wild claims for seaweed wraps and spin classes. Real wellbeing is about fun, fairness and relationships, says GP Margaret McCartney

I did not intend to have a spa experience. The plan was to go for afternoon tea, but the spa next door was included in the price. And so arrived a “wellbeing” menu, where one could choose between seaweed wraps to purify and a meditative steam room with energising lights to destress. sallyhinch I think that's a very good piece, but worth noting that there is at least a degree of complicity from consumers rationalising that they can swap some cash for actual effort. If we stopped buying shit we don't need the economy would collapse! 😉

So the myth that a healthy lifestyle is expensive is not a myth the myth however that you have to pay strangers to get a healthy lifestyle for yourself does exist the second myth is the one that industry tries to sell you

🤷🏻‍♂️ At least it’s free!

The expensive part is where u need Money power & education to do any of it in the first place sure then after becoming a super human the costs can lower but not before school cost $1 million in loans then a lot of time & effort family support & love which almost no one but me has
