In 2012, one pair of jeans changed Claire Lampert’s life. A design consultant by day, Lampert was running a creative studio in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood as a side project, finding, shooting and selling vintage clothing under the name Where I Was From.
She had one pair of patchwork jeans, though, that she never wanted to give up. When fashion executive Stacy Daily visited the studio and saw the jeans, she proposed working on something similar with Lampert.
