MANILA—Authorities disposed of food products from China that tested positive for African swine fever, the Bureau of Customs said Saturday.

Along with the Bureau of Animal Industry , the BOC got rid of various food such as dumplings, pork-chicken balls and roast chicken wings consigned to Dynamic M International Trading Inc.

The veterinary quarantine services of the BAI found a sample of pork-celery dumpling to be ASF positive, said BOC. The Philippines confirmed its first case of ASF in September 2019, prompting a ban on meat products from countries where the hog disease was first reported.
