A 14-year-old entrepreneur makes thousands of dollars a month as a top-rated sneaker seller on GOAT. Here's how he got there.

, resale marketplaces like StockX and GOAT can be great places for sneaker resellers to conduct business because of advantages like authentication systems that can weed out fake pairs. However, most charge hefty fees per sale, which can deter resellers from utilizing these platforms.

Getting to where he is today wasn't easy at first. When asked how he rose in the GOAT ranks so quickly, Stewart said, "You have to spend money to make money." Stewart said he lost around $400 in total to get to the point of having lower fees per sale because he knew it would be worth it in the long run.

"Brick" is a term used for shoes that aren't worth very much but are reliable sellers, such as Nike's Air Force 1 sneakers, which generally go for aboutStewart said that getting bricks at discounted rates and then flipping them for slightly under retail is a great way to build up sales experience and numbers on GOAT.
