Kabo Fresh Dog Food says dog and cat owners will be able to talk by phone or video to a licensed, accredited vet about their pet’s health

A Canadian dog food company is helping pet owners connect with veterinarians online for free during the COVID-19 crisis.

“Connecting pet parents with licensed veterinarians from the safety of their homes is simply the right thing to do,” Vino Jeyapalan, CEO and co-founder of Kabo Fresh Dog Food, said in a statement. “And by providing this service for free, pet parents will have one less financial concern during these times.”

Kabo, the country’s largest home-delivery fresh dog food brand, says dog and cat owners will be able to talk by phone or video to a licensed, accredited vet about their pet’s health. The company says there was a 492% increase in Canadian Google searches for vet telehealth March 14-27 over the previous two weeks.
