We celebrate the federal arts minister, Paul Fletcher’s, enthusiasm in the opinion piece published by the Guardian on Thursday, and share his excitement for the day when Australia’s cultural life can resume.

My art group makes life-size sculptures out of our own sh*t to highlight climate change and transphobia. We would not have survived if it hadn't been for generous extra funding from the EU and UK governments.
