A 1996 court declaration written by Tara Reade's ex-husband shows shows she spoke of harassment in Biden's Senate office

Joe Biden's former staffer, Tara Reade, says the former Vice President and presumptive Democratic nominee, assaulted her in 1993. Reade's Senate ID card can be seen on the right.

The declaration shows that Reade told Dronen about harassment in Biden's office when she worked there in 1993, but it did not say Biden was the perpetrator. The document also does not mention Reade's sexual assault allegations, according to The Tribune. Dronen also wrote that Reade told him she left the position after striking a deal with the chief of staff of Biden's office.

"I want to say, you and I were there, Joe Biden, please step forward and be held accountable," Reade said. "You should not be running on character for the president of the United States.""Does that mean we're presumed guilty, and we all have to take polygraphs," Reade asked. "So I'll take one if Joe Biden takes one. But I'm not a criminal."from a former staffer Tara Reade. This week the secretary of the Senate rejected the request.

DBChirpy it’s in their divorce papers. As a rape survivor I believe her story should be heard & it has. Her story also changes often. That’s not in line with sexual assault where the details are seated in your memory. Perhaps the woman has mental issues & is crying out for help.

She spoke of her life as a survivor of domestic abuse and specifically said she knew so much about the subject because she worked for Joe Biden when he was working on the Violence Against Women Act.
