The CEOs of GOAT, Stadium Goods, and BUMP outlined the best ways for sneaker resellers to navigate the multi-billion dollar market in the pandemic

The CEOs of resale marketplaces GOAT, Stadium Goods, and BUMP have all seen an increase in users joining their sites since the pandemic began.

"As people are spending more time at home, we've experienced an increase in sellers signing up on our platform," said GOAT CEO Eddy Lu. "More people are realizing that they can make money by selling goods they already own or have recently acquired."On the buyer's side, demand for sneakers has increased as well.

On GOAT, Air Jordan sales increased by 68% in the first weeks after the series aired. For Stadium Goods, the increased attention to the Jordan brand was the most notable trend since the start of the pandemic. The Ben & Jerry's-themed sneakers sold out in minutes and were listed for thousands of dollars on resale marketplaces shortly after.Noting the success of their platforms amid the pandemic, the CEOs from GOAT, Stadium Goods, and BUMP expressed optimism about the future of their businesses and the sneaker resale industry as a whole.
