3 regional casino stocks to buy, despite COVID-19 concerns

As Covid-19 cases rise around the country, investors betting on a casino resurgence may be pressing their luck. Still, there are some regional players worth buying, says Jefferies.

Katz notes that the governor of Nevada has also put that state’s reopening on hold, and casino patrons are now required to wear masks after a jump in cases in recent weeks. However, Nevada casinos were able to carve out modest foot traffic growth in the past week. Still, with social distancing enforcement spotty, some Las Vegas workers have filed lawsuits against firms, including MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment .
