Rank managers and marshals will receive R50m from the provincial transport department to ensure safety

The Gauteng government will pay R50m to taxi rank marshals and managers to help fight Covid-19.

“It’s a good plan. It’s well thought out and meets all the financial checks and balances. This is about ensuring people’s safety,” said Gauteng transport MEC Jacob Mamabolo.
