Celeb chef Dylan McGrath tells how cooking meals for frontline workers helped his business during lockdown

Dylan McGrath has revealed how cooking meals for front line workers helped him keep his business during lockdown.

“So, we decided to get in there quick and do something positive. That got a lot of lads back to work and it just kept the brain moving.” “So, I decided that by doing something positive, like cooking for the frontline workers, I could keep moving and stay out of the Covid news cycle.” “You just have to brush yourself off and try to be as clear thinking as you can and look at the business and see what will work,” he said.“That allowed me to take key members of the team, who had been with mea long time, and created a bit of employment.“We have opened four days a week and I am very encouraged by what I have seen. I feel that there is a core business there.

“That is working really well and 40 pc of our customers are having drinks and a salad or some brilliant pizza or lamb. “The least amount of effort possible to make people feel safe and that you are ticking all the new guidelines, for us, has been the key.
