EbonyRoq Innovation, based in Chicago, was in the middle of launching a new product—Handy Lightz, a featherweight glove with two LED lights that illuminate an area so users don’t have to hold a flashlight while doing household projects—on HSN when COVID-19 hit.

“I knew I was going to keep moving until I figured it out,” she says. “You can’t let fear paralyze you.” When her factory finally did reopen, Graham began manufacturing the designs, under the name Face Maskz. That was about four months ago.
