Direct Line Group has teamed up with LeakBot to leverage its IoT device and identify water damage early.Direct Line Group cut costs by moving from reactive risk protection to proactive risk prevention.

Insider Intelligence publishes hundreds of insights, charts, and forecasts on the Fintech industry with the Fintech Briefing. The UK insurer will now offer LeakBot's leak detection system to its high net worth home insurance customers over the next 12 months, per a press release seen by Insider Intelligence.This includes a free LeakBot device and free visits from specialist LeakBot engineers. The device detects potential issues within a home's pipes by tracking water temperature, and notifies the customer via a smartphone alert.
