Opinion | Trump's Middle East accord is the illusion of peace for Israel. By anthonyLfisher

Israel normalized relations with the Arab states Bahrain and United Arab Emirates, in an accord partially brokered by the Trump administration.

As long as Israel is an occupying force, it can never be at peace or call itself a liberal democracy. Visit Business Insider's homepage for more storiesIsrael has existed as a sovereign state for over 70 years in the Middle East, alongside the 22 nations that make up the Arab League. Until this month, just two of those countries recognized Israel's existence: Egypt and Jordan.

That's why, however much it pains President Donald Trump's critics to admit it, the deals brokered in part by the Trump administration with Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates to normalize relations with Israel are historically significant. There's no peace in the Middle East without a Palestinian statein the West Bank and, along with Egypt, imposes a land and sea blockade on nearly 2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

anthonyLfisher and King Soloman's backing away from being a part of this deal is also big news since Trump said every country is breaking down the door to become a part of this deal.. I give Trump credit for the best effort made thus far with this issue, but it may not be as good as it seems...

anthonyLfisher word coming out of the middle East is that Israeli subs have been seen in both the persian gulf and in Bahraini shores which implies there maybe more to the deal then what's public which is little. Why did Israel protest the UAE's want to buy the F-35? Strange events this deal..

anthonyLfisher Trump Family doesn't give a 💩 about Palestinians. Trump wants a hotel in Jerusalem. And maybe Bibi will provide a place to hide if things get too hot for Trump in America.
