Brussels claims Boris Johnson is breaching the 'good faith' both sides signed up to in the withdrawal agreement.

The accusation is breaching trust, by threatening the Withdrawal Agreement.

They said:"The Withdrawal Agreement is a treaty, grounded in international law and the mere fact of this infringement, and the statement of intent in this bill, will be negative for the reputation of the UK as a trusted international partner. It compels parties to"refrain from any measures which could jeopardise the attainment of the objectives of this Agreement".

And for all the acrimony that has been expressed, you might argue that this is a tough negotiation and bruised feelings and legal threats are part and parcel of the joust. From Brussels, it is quite hard to see how it has actually helped push negotiations forward. But equally, away from the political rows, it does not seem to have hindered the actual trade talks.

Boris has made a mockery of the UK in the eyes of the world.. Made us look like an untrustworthy worthy nation full of liars and deal breakers. Fully disgraceful

Clumsy politics is always a bit of a train wreck. I just wish the train wreck were not the UK.

EU...properly crapping it.

No.

The EU - throwing a toddler tantrum in a supermarket aisle, and still almost year later, unable to understand that Boris isn't Theresa May, and he has an 80 seat majority.
