The Bobcat Fire, the massive blaze burning through the Angeles National Forest, was likely ignited by tree branches that fell onto a power line, according to Southern California Edison.

Wildfires in California, Oregon and Washington are some of the biggest on record, and experts said a combination of factors could continue to make them more frequent.

The U.S. Forest Service, which is conducting the probe into the origin of the fire, has retained a section of an overhead conductor line and three tree branches from an area near where the fire first sparked, the utility company wrote in a letter to the California Public Utilities Commission on Monday. However, federal investigators have not shared the details of the investigation with SoCal Edison, the company wrote. The blaze began on Sept.

Pg&e again at fault

so...poor forest management

“Climate change”

Most of the fires both this year and 2 years ago were intentionally started. And not just by some random arsonists, it involved coordinated efforts and technology like the 'smart meters' and Directed energy weapons. They are in desperate need of federal aid money & a narrative

Brett

However much it costs to bury those lines, it will be cheaper than the cost in lives and property.

🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Doesn’t Pg&e contract tree services to maintain these lines? Or no cuz they went bankrupt or whatever?

SoCal edison better pay up

So... NOT climate change?

Hmm.. maybe something can be done about that to prevent this from happening in the future.

my prayers..

Why are there tree branches even near a power line? CA forest mismanagement.

Adfordable houseing now that all those multi millon $ homes used to be

Utility companies should be aloud to cut any tree they think could effect lines now or in the near future. No negotiations.

😥😥
